Gary Yamamoto started out making some of the finest curl-tailed lures you could find anywhere. And he still does. Yamamoto grubs, Hula Grubs and Twin Tails have the thinnest tails you will find anywhere. Amazing given that these baits are injected. Yes the tails tear easily. But they also catch more fish! We prefer to reel another fish in, more than worrying about not being able to fish all day with one bait. But don't let us tell you what is important to you.
Gary loads his baits up with salt, more than any other manufacturer. They have so much salt, they actually crunch when you bite down on them. We think that crunch is something that fools the fish into thinking they have the real thing.
